Welcome

Dr. Otness was inspired to become a physical therapist while observing family members with chronic illnesses manage their symptoms with physical activity.  Her grandmother had Multiple Sclerosis and her mother suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  She found encouragement by watching her grandmother work with physical therapists and her mother walk on a daily basis to ease their symptoms.  Physical activity soon became a sanctuary of her own.​

While working as a physical therapist for 15 years, Dr. Otness has observed the impact that emotions, ideas, beliefs, societal pressures and social factors have on the healing process, resulting in varying results for patients with similar illnesses, injuries and disease processes. 

 

While navigating her personal healing journey through trauma, loss, injury and illness, she found hope, healing, and connection through holistic healing.  Reiki opened a door to healing that she had never known before.  This sparked her interest for learning more.  While overcoming a medical treatment that resulted in paralysis and the inability to function normally, Dr. Otness discovered The Body Talk System.  This enabled her to avoid the need for surgery and regain a quality of life that was not anticipated.  Dr. Otness has created a holistic healing sanctuary full of limitless potential.  She is eager to share this holistic healing with you, so you can live and enjoy life the way you wish to!

 

​Diane Otness received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2010.  Dr. Otness became a Certified Reiki Master in 2022, and a Certified Body Talk Practitioner in 2024.  She enjoys continuous learning through this beautiful journey of life.
