Welcome

Dr. Otness was inspired to become a physical therapist while observing family members with chronic illnesses manage their symptoms with physical activity.  Her grandmother had Multiple Sclerosis and her mother suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  She found encouragement by watching her grandmother work with physical therapists and her mother walk on a daily basis to ease their symptoms.  Physical activity soon became a sanctuary of her own.

While working as a physical therapist, Dr. Otness observed the varying results patients experienced with similar illnesses, injuries and disease processes.  She was fascinated by the impact that emotions, ideas, beliefs and other factors had on the healing process. 

 

While navigating her personal healing journey through trauma, loss, injury and illness, she found hope, healing, and connection through holistic healing.  Reiki opened a door to healing that she had never known before.  This sparked her interest for learning more.  Discovering that the founder of The Body Talk System was able to heal his body from the same virus that caused debilitating pain and fatigue for her mother, Dr. Otness decided to become a Body Talk Practitioner herself.

Through her healing journey, Dr. Otness has found peace within, and has learned to love herself amidst the storm.  She has created a new sanctuary full of limitless protentional.  She is excited to share the healing she received, and the connection she found with you.

Diane Otness received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2010.  Dr. Otness became a Certified Reiki Master in 2022, and a Certified Body Talk Practitioner in 2024.  She enjoys continuous learning through this beautiful journey of life.
